About the wine
Gerhard and Brigitte Pittnauer, also called Pittis, cultivate approx. 20 ha of vines (95% red and 5% white) around the municipality of Gols in Burgenland. Gerhard took over the company from his parents in the early 90s and, in just a few years, managed to transform the company from a small no-name company to one of the rising producers in the region. The Pittis have a creative approach to viticulture and its products.

Tasting note
Vivid ruby red color. On the nose, lots of black fruits, intense blackberry aromas, underlined with fine pepper tones. On the palate, robust and full-bodied.
Culinary recommendation
Goes perfectly with pizza and pasta, but also beef, venison, lamb, duck and goose.
Vinification
The expansion took place in steel tanks.
