About the wine
This provocative Tinta Barroca 2014 — Plansel Selecta Reserva crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Sunny and picturesque landscapes of the Alentejo give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Quinta da Plansel conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Tinta Barroca is excellent to serve with stollen or terrines.

Tasting note
Intense garnet red, aromas of plum and blackcurrant, spicy spicy, fine tobacco, meets chocolaty, caramel-vanilla wood management. The finish is complex, full-bodied, with soft tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. Flaschenpost team tip: Plansel Selecta Reserva goes perfectly with terrines, stollen and cheese.
Vinification
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, partly in lagar. 12 months storage in hoz keg.
