About the wine
Sunny and picturesque landscapes of the Alentejo give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Quinta da Plansel conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. You will certainly enjoy the delicious Plansel Tinta Barroca, which was produced in 2015.

Tasting note
Heart cherries in the scent and lots of black cherry on the palate, pleasant fruit, dark chocolate, cedar wood, very complex and noble. Very long finish with recurring fruit.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 6 years.
Vinification
Grapes chilled overnight are slowly fermented in traditional Lagars for up to 15 days. Extremely gentle on the berry, as no pumps are used and the seeds and berry skins are not subjected to mechanical stress.
