Tasting note
Vivid deep crimson. Notes of warm mulberries, cherries and black tea with a hint of Indian spices on the nose. The palate is intense but elegant with excellent, pure fruit notes. Ripe, well-integrated tannins and good concentration provide a strong structure, with a long-lasting finish and a perfectly seamless balance. A powerful achievement!

The Shiraz grapes come from old vines in the northern part of the Barossa Valley, the Grenache grapes from 50-60-year-old bush vines located slightly south and the Mourvèdre grapes are partly from old and young bush vines, also in the northern part of the Barossa Valley. Careful vinification of this selected grape was followed by a 15-month maturation in French oak barrels. Only around 200 magnum bottles are bottled — very limited availability!
