Tasting note
An elegant, subtle port, with bright color and varied aromas, which are entwined around a base tone of red fruits. The senior tawny is best served with dried fruits, apple pie, crème caramel or foie gras terrine. Shelf life: 10-15 years
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with cheese, blue cheese and aperitifs.
Vinification
Matures in barrels for much of its life.
