About the wine
Sunny and fertile landscapes of the Loire give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the French winery Baron Patrick de Ladoucette conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. We have a special, distinctive Sauvignon Blanc from 2014 for you, which inspires many wine connoisseurs. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you offer this Sauvignon Blanc with mussels or fish.
Tasting note
A classic pouilly fumé from the banks of the Loire. Baron Patrick de Ladoucette is a specialist in classic Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre. His wines will always be a clear expression of grape variety and terroir and will not be adulterated with barriques. The wine is pale yellow with greenish reflections. Delicate fruity nose with typical, fine gooseberry aromas, paired with the mineral notes of the terroir. Pleasantly harmonious on the palate with fresh, crisp acidity and a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with seafood, veal, poultry, cheese.
Vinification
Vinified in steel tanks, aged on yeast.
