About the wine
With this distinctive Grenache 2022 — Primo Scuro Cannonau Di Sardegna DOC, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Sunny and picturesque landscapes in Sardinia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Cantina Mesa conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This grenache is ideal to serve with spicy dishes or burgers with blue cheese.
Tasting note
Ruby red in the glass. On the nose, a good intensity with notes of ripe red fruit, berries and violets. Balanced and full-bodied on the palate with a warm, lingering finish. Excellent structure with soft tannins and a fruity flavor.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with charcuterie, grilled meats and semi-soft cheeses.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested between the end of September and the beginning of October. The grapes are macerated for 1 week at 24-26°C and the juice is fermented in steel tanks. Expansion in steel tanks.
