About the wine

In 1928 Carlo Botter founded his winery with a few hectares of land and a small winery near Venice on the border with Friuli and sold local Veneto wines in barrels or in Demijohn. Today, his sons and grandchildren work around 100 hectares of the Botter AG winery on the family winery in Motta di Livenza. The location of the farm is ideal for viticulture, and Botter relies on strict quality control and careful, gentle vinification. With an export share of 98%, Botter is today the undisputed market leader for the export of wines from Veneto and the whole of Italy to over 40 countries worldwide.
