About the wine
The Ruggeri wine cellar was founded in 1950 by Giustino Bisol, whose family boasts a centuries-old tradition and is deeply rooted in the wine-growing culture of Valdobbiadene. The Bisol family has been growing vines there for many centuries, as can be seen from the old tax documents. Today, Ruggeri is one of the leading producers in the region.
Tasting note
Straw yellow with greenish reflections, incessant perlage. It has an intense and persistent fruity aroma of fine quality with notes of ripe golden apples, dried apricots and acacia trees. It is sweet and fresh, beautifully slim and light, very soft and well balanced with good persistence and a fruity finish.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent aperitif!
Vinification
The base wine is kept on the lees in stainless steel tanks. The secondary fermentation is carried out by slow fermentation in large closed containers at 12°C.
