About the wine
With the biting sparkling wine — Prosecco DOCG Valdobbiadene Vecchie Viti brut, nuances and accents are redefined. Beautiful and fertile landscapes in Veneto give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Ruggeri conjures up this sparkling wine with refinement and experience. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This sparkling wine is ideal to be served with light dishes or aperitifs.
Tasting note
The bouquet is immediately appealing — the fruity-floral aromas, finely spiced with a little light honey, are contrasted by a slight tartness. The body is very present and mouth-filling. A great partner for a nice meal too.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, freshwater fish and Mediterranean cuisine.
Vinification
The wine from the first fermentation is stored on the yeast until spring and then passed into the pressure vessel. The secondary fermentation is slow and careful, and the wine remains in contact with the yeast until a few days before bottling at the end of June.
