About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this strong sparkling wine — Prosecco Rosé Argeo Brut DOC. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Ruggeri masters this sparkling wine in the beautiful and fertile landscape in Veneto. Flaschenpost team promises a culinary experience if you offer this sparkling wine with shellfish or fish dishes.
Tasting note
This wine has a delicate shimmering light pink color with a subtle and constant perlage. The aroma is fresh, very fine and persistent with hints of small red fruits and mineral and floral notes. The taste is dry, pleasantly fresh and spicy with a very harmonious structure.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with charcuterie, fruit desserts, pizza, pasta, poultry, veal
Vinification
90% Glera with 10% Pinot Nero from the best vineyards in the province of Treviso. The harvest for this Prosecco takes place at the end of September. The grapes are vinified separately from each other, whereby the Pinot Nero is fermented with skin contact to extract the color from the grape skin. The white wine and red wine are then married together. This is followed by the second fermentation followed by a rest period of three months on the lees.
