About the wine
Christmas 2021 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this dominant Chardonnay 2018 — Puligny-Montrachet AOC! The shale, calcareous soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Chardonnay. The winemaker from the French winery Moillard-Grivot knows how to use them and delights us with this white wine. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Chardonnay with asparagus or fish with herbs.
Tasting note
Color: golden yellow with slight green reflections. Aromatics: Intense aromas of white flowers, green apple and light citrus fruit, notes of vanilla and mineral accents, slightly nutty. Body: Elegant, lean body with well-integrated acidity and minerality. Quality: Playful wine that shows a lot of character on the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with salmon dishes, pasta with poultry and an apéro riche.
