About the wine
The powerful Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 — Quinta da Bacalhôa VR Península de Setúbal is the missing piece of the puzzle in your wine rack. Sunny landscapes in Terras do Sado give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Quinta do Bacalhoa conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Cabernet Sauvignon can be served very well with red meat or pizza with mushrooms.

Tasting note
Medium rich ruby red. Aromas of red fruits combined with wood and spice nuances. In the mouth, the sensations of red fruits are emphasized and combined with soft tannins. It has a fresh, slightly mineral, elegant and very complex finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, game, grill, Mediterranean cuisine
Vinification
A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot, aged for 13 months in Allier French oak barrels. It is then left in the bottle for six months.
