About the wine
We put the shooting star of the ZFF partner winery in a thunderstorm of flashes. Woe betide anyone who underestimates this parade wine!
Tasting note
A man of will and taste. Generous, initially dark, rich fruit, warm tones, tobacco, chocolate, then increasingly relaxed, fresh, mountain herbs and slate. On the palate with a nice play, cheerful at the beginning, it also shows its distinctive side, firm structure and strict features - after a while: benevolent and with a lot of charm. Exciting character and a great accompaniment to roasted meat.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at slightly chilled 16°-18°C. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Quinta da Costa das Aguaneiras Vinho Tinto goes well with barbecue, pasta and tapas.
Vinification
Very low yields. Selective harvesting by hand, tamped with feet, fermentation in granite basins and 5 to 10% in steel tanks to preserve the purity and freshness of the fruit. The maturation takes place for the most part in new and used French barriques.
