The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Quinta de la Rosa has absolutely mastered his craft. This powerful Touriga Franca 2013 — Quinta de la Rosa red wine is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Tasting note
The distinctive florality typical of Quinta de la Rosa red wines is beautifully expressed in the bouquet with notes of violet, lavender and lilac. The robust tannins are well integrated into the strong body and give the wine density and structure. The fruit component with cherry, cassis jelly and prune is slightly more dominant than the spiciness with notes of white pepper, cardamom and nutmeg. Its intense flavor makes it the ideal accompaniment to hearty dishes.
