About the wine
The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Christie Wines has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the blooming and magnificent landscape of the Douro Valley. Tasting note
This intense ruby red Douro wine captivates with complex and intense aromas of ripe plums, black cherries and dark berries accompanied by pleasantly spicy notes of chocolate, exotic spices and some cedar wood. On the palate, it is voluminous with dark fruit and an extremely spicy nature. The pleasant freshness and velvety tannins lead to a long-lasting fruit-borne finish. A classic Douro wine with enormous fun potential.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Portuguese specialities, hearty meat dishes, stews, lamb, grilled meat, recently hard cheeses.
