About the wine
There is always something left over from Christmas dinner. Do you know that? Why not invite your friends over for a glass of wine in the afternoon to enjoy the festive meal again and we recommend this provocative Merlot 2018. Fertile and blooming Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Lenovelire conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Merlot with poultry or duck.
Tasting note
Wonderfully scented of small wild strawberries, amarena cherries, hot peppers and chilli. You can feel the pepperiness of Cabernet Franc, with the emphasis on the fruit side dominating. On the palate, it is almost mineral, melty and very palate-friendly thanks to the elegant, well-integrated acidity. On the finish, spicy, sweet tobacco nuances.

Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Re Be Bolgheri DOC harmoniert perfekt mit Ente, leicht scharfem, rotem Fleisch und Geflügel.
Vinification
After the hand-picked harvest, the grapes are harvested after the berries have been harvested and brought to temperature-controlled fermentation (28°-30°C). After regular circulation, the young wine is aged in steel tanks so that it can retain its full fruitiness.
