About the wine
Founded in 2015 by star oenologist Mario Ercolino, “Compagnia Siciliana 1921” shows Sicily from its best side. The number 1921 was inspired by the year that was most important for the production and trade of Sicilian wine. “Every wine must be a sensual journey,” is Mario's vision. With this Nero d'Avola, he not only achieves this visually, but above all in taste.
Tasting note
Ruby red color with slightly purple nuances, delicate aroma with fruity notes, hints of red berries, pomegranate, licorice. The palate is well-balanced, soft and intense.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, aged cheeses, roasted or braised meats.
