Tasting note
Deep red to dark purple. Intense nose and aromas of dark ripe fruit, jam, licorice, toffee and vanilla. Strong, complex and fresh on the palate, balanced with well-integrated sweetness. Slight roasted aromas due to the short cask aging period. Long aftertaste with renewed notes of ripe fruit, licorice and coffee.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with spicy pasta dishes, dark meats and cheese.
