About the wine
The landscape in Schaffhausen can be described in such words as hilly. However, the Swiss winery Stefan Gysel is trying to express the beauty of his homeland with this white wine. We think he succeeded! With this outstanding white wine 2018 — Aagne Rheinriesling AOC Schaffhausen, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Tasting note
On the nose, the Rhine Riesling is characterized by aromas such as apple, lime and apricot. The lively acidity on the palate is very striking, which makes the wine refreshing and crisp. With the soft palate filling and the racy, mineral finish, this wine is balanced and invigorating.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, light summer cuisine, Asian dishes, duck, poultry dishes and fried freshwater fish.
Vinification
Stainless steel tank, temperature-controlled fermentation, without BSA (no acid degradation), aging on the fine yeast, subsequent filtration filling after 5-7 mt. upgrading
