About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Livio Felluga has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates from the flourishing and fertile landscape of Friuli. With the delicious Ribolla Gialla DOC Colli Orientali del Friuli, which was produced in 2017, you are sure to have a lot of fun.
2024 - 2046
Tasting note
Straw yellow color with soft green reflections. Bouquet: intense, fresh and sophisticated. Subtle notes of white spring flowers, peonies and calla blossoms. Goes perfectly with the fruity notes of white cherry, strawberries and Renetta apple. Refreshing notes of citrus and thyme complete the bouquet. Taste: lively, dynamic and pleasantly mineral. Citrus notes of cedar and lime and lively acidity give a lasting feeling of freshness. Tender but enveloping with a slight balsamic aftertaste.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully destemmed and macerated for a short period of time. Next, the fruit is crushed until soft. The must obtained may then settle. The now clarified must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is stored on the yeast in stainless steel containers for six months. The bottled wine is stored in temperature-controlled storage cellars for at least two months.
