About the wine
The “Falkenstein” winery in the Vinschgau Valley is managed independently and according to his own philosophy by Franz Pratzner as a member of the Frien Winegrowers of South Tyrol. The winery has been family-owned for over 400 years. Franz Pratzner became a self-marketer in 1995 and has since made an excellent name for himself among South Tyrol's winemakers. His Riesling is even among the best from all over Italy.

Tasting note
The South Tyrolean Riesling DOC from Weingut Falkenstein is greenish, light yellow in color, delicately floral on the nose, slightly ethereal with a typical mineral scent and delicious citrus aromas. Reminiscent of apricot, quince and green apples. Lively, elegant and long in the finale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with antipasti, aperitif, fish and seafood, poultry.
