About the wine
Johannes Leitz took over his parents' business with 3 hectares in 1985 after completing his training as a master winemaker. Since then, the estate has become a nationally and internationally successful winery with a remarkable size of almost 43 hectares. The top dry wines from the Rüdesheimer Berg Roseneck, Berg Schlossberg, Rüdesheimer Berg Rottland and Rüdesheimer Berg Kaisersteinfels vineyards are among the top wines in Germany. All wines bear Leitz's individual signature and reflect the typicality of the terroir.
Tasting note
Enjoy this non-alcoholic white wine variant with typical aromas of lime and citrus fruits and surprising notes of rhubarb, red apples and a light minerality. In terms of taste, the one-two-zero impresses with a beautiful acid structure, lightness and freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, summer salads, pasta, poultry dishes.
Vinification
100% Riesling grapes from our own vineyards are gently pressed and fermented at cool temperatures. The wine is then gently dealcoholized using the latest cellar technology. In the vacuum evaporator, the wine is heated to a maximum of 27°C, which causes the alcohol it contains to evaporate. Due to the low boiling temperature of alcohol in a vacuum, the important ingredients and flavors as well as the bouquet of the wine are largely preserved.
