About the wine
Weingut Dr. Loosen has been family-owned for over 200 years. Ernst Loosen, who has been running the winery since 1988, quickly recognized the great potential of the vineyards with 60 to 100-year-old root vines in the most famous vineyards in the Middle Moselle. All six of Dr. Loosen's main vineyards were designated as large sites in 1868. Gutsintern is now deliberately used to use this classification and since 1988 only Rieslings from classified vineyards have been bottled.

Tasting note
The Erdener Treppchen location this year is full-bodied and more masculine. Concentration, complexity, salinity and density in the aftertaste of this large plant inspire.

Unsere Empfehlung: Der Weisswein schmeckt am besten bei leicht gekühlten 8°-11°C. Der Wein sollte in diesem Zeitraum genossen werden: 2014 - 2026. Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Riesling Erdener Treppchen Alte Reben Grosses Gewächs harmoniert perfekt mit Ente, indischer Küche und Pilzen.
