About the wine
Clemens and Rita Busch have been running the winery in Pünderich according to strict criteria of organic viticulture since 1986. Their most important foundations are the conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity and respectful treatment of the environment. The various locations are characterized by an enormous variety of different types of slate and are among the best that can be found on the Moselle.

Tasting note
On the nose, fine aromas reminiscent of ripe oranges, pineapples, apricots and honey. On the palate, a nice interplay between sweetness and acidity. The variety of flavors is already very accessible, but will only become true after some storage time.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Riesling Marienburg Fahrlay Grosses Gewächs goes well with mushrooms, shrimps and Indian cuisine.
Vinification
Clemens Busch relies on particularly gentle vinification. After selective manual harvesting, slow spontaneous fermentation is started. The grapes ferment with the help of natural fine yeasts from the vineyard over a period of over ten months in some cases. The maturation takes place in the typical Moselle fuder barrels, which are made of oak wood.
