About the wine
This outstanding white wine 2016 — Riesling Reserve crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Sunny and magnificent landscapes of the Rhine Valley give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the German Weingut Bietighöfer conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. Bio
Tasting note
A Riesling selection that was fermented after harvesting at 96° O in oak barrels covered for several years. This wine is yet to reach its peak. It has a very complex nature. On the nose, some herbs, but also yellow aromas that are reminiscent of ripe mirabelle.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The white wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 8°-10°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: Now until 2025. Flaschenpost team tip: Riesling Reserve goes perfectly with duck, mushrooms and Indian cuisine.
