About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the German Weingut Markus Molitor masters this white wine in the picturesque landscape of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Riesling with Asian food or shrimp.

Tasting note
Markus Molitor's Riesling trocken Bernkasteler Lay Auslese is clear, precise and mineral-fresh on the nose with aromas of lime peel and fresh quince, pear, apple, mirabelle. On the palate, it is very fresh and lush, spicy and concentrated with mineral notes and rich fruit aromas as well as a long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
The wine should be enjoyed during this period: Now until 2070. For duck, mushrooms and Indian cuisine, try Flaschenpöstler.
Vinification
The grapes for Markus Molitor's Riesling trocken Bernkasteler Lay Auslese were picked by hand at the end of October. The healthy grapes were gently ground and macerated on the berry skins for several hours. The must was then spontaneously fermented slowly and cool so that multi-faceted and fruity wine aromas could develop. This was followed by gentle maturation in large wooden barrels and a long yeast storage period.
