About the wine
Back at the forefront for just a few years, but that's no wonder, it's thanks to the courageous Daniel Wagner. After taking over his parents' winery in the 1990s, he led the winery with great passion and unwavering confidence, with its excellent locations (15 ha) back to the tip of Rheinhessen, where it was 100 years ago. Year after year, Daniel Wagner and his team work out the peculiarities of volcanic sites more precisely. Work in the vineyard (certified organic) is exemplary! Vibrant, mineral white wines, unique and large.

Tasting note
A shark radiates great sovereignty, silent power and elegance. Tart and fresh, apples, citrus fruits, stones. On the palate, flows smoothly, soft yet firm, with great balance across the palate, the terrific acidity accompanied by cool sweet fruit and minerality, ice candy. In warmer climates, more exotic and aggressive on the palate! Because of estate wine. Character riesling from a very great wine year!
Culinary recommendation
Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Riesling trocken harmoniert bestens mit Crevetten, Ente und indischer Küche.
Vinification
Selective reading by hand. Ageing in stainless steel tanks and traditional, old oak barrels.
