About the wine

Weingut Dr. Loosen has been family-owned for over 200 years. When Ernst Loosen took over the winery in 1988, he quickly realized that he had the opportunity to produce unique and large Rieslings with the winery's root-true vines, which are between 60 and 100 years old and are located in the most famous vineyards of the Moselle. Ernst Loosen is convinced that great wines come from great passion. We want to produce wines that are tempting to enjoy, that are concentrated and complex and that reflect their origin in an unmistakable way.
