About the wine
This biting white wine 2016 — Riesling Vin d'Alsace AOC crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. The winemaker from the French winery Wolfberger greets us with this wine, which he grows in the Alsace countryside. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Riesling is ideal to be served with shrimps or Asian food.
Tasting note
Clear, bright, intense green gold, medium density color. Fresh, ripe fruity bouquet, finely citrusy, ripe apricots and mirabelles, subtle floral note, noticeable minerality, typical of the variety, slightly balsamic body: Elegant on the palate with balanced tannins and acidity, beautiful, aromatic presence, strong, light sweetness, typical fine petroleum notes, herbs and brioche. Quality: Clear, intense, complex wine.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with soft cheese, cream cheese, tarte flambée, carpe frite and bouchée à la reine.
