About the wine

In the former GVS winery founded in 1934, the Schachenmann wine dynasty in Schachenmann produces excellent national and international wines from the grapes, which 160 winegrowing companies in the Pinot Noir region cultivate and cultivate for them. For economic reasons, the wineries GVS Weinkellerei and Schachenmann AG came together in 1998 and combined their strengths. Since then, the winery has been operating as GVS Schachenmann AG and inspires wine connoisseurs with traditional wines and innovative ideas. When vinifying, the winery uses the wide range of technical options in such a way that the qualities of the grapes and the soil on which it grows are fully appreciated.
