About the wine

In the former GVS wine cellar, founded in 1934, the Schaffhausen wine dynasty Schachenmann produces nationally and internationally excellent wines from the grapes that 160 vineyards in Pinot Noir cultivate and cultivate for them. For economic reasons, the wineries GVS Weinkellerei and Schachenmann AG came together in 1998 and combined their strengths. Since then, the winery has been operating as GVS Schachenmann AG and delights wine connoisseurs with traditional wines and innovative ideas. When vinifying, the winery uses a variety of technical options in such a way that the qualities of the grape material and the soil on which it grows are fully appreciated.
