About the wine

If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this present Tempranillo 2016 Rioja DOC Reserva Asua. Enchanting and fertile landscapes of the Upper Ebro give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Asua conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Tempranillo can be served very well with red meat or pizza.

Tasting note
A radiant garnet red wine with aromas of ripe black fruits and liquorice, along with some smoky and earthy notes. The palate is wonderfully fresh, with some spicy vanilla, chocolate, cocoa and tobacco flavors added.

Goes well with beef with dark sauces and curries.
