About the wine
For decades, the Rancan family, owners of the vineyards in Tregnago, in the heart of Valpolicella, delivered their grapes to the local winegrowers' cooperative. It wasn't until 2007 that Renzo Rancan decided to process the grapes himself and founded the Cantina Ca' dei Conti, where he was able to hire Fabio Melotto as an oenologist. Even the first vintages showed the exceptional potential of the wines, and the Valpolicella Superiore “La Roara” in particular impressed with its incredible density and structure. This wine can be easily incorporated into an Amarone blind tasting and will always be at the forefront!

Tasting note
Ruby red color with purple reflections. Intense, warm bouquet with aromas of strawberries, cherries and dried fruits, plus fine notes of vanilla and cocoa. Soft structure and fruity fullness on the palate. The aftertaste is rich and long.

Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Ripaso Valpolicella Superiore DOC harmoniert perfekt mit Wild, kräftigen Fleischgerichten und Braten. Unsere Empfehlung: Trinken Sie diesen Rotwein bei leicht gekühlten 18°-20°C.
