About the wine
The Cantina Sociale di Santadi is currently the most successful wine-growing cooperative in Italy and the Rocca Rubia Riserva its most famous wine. Three hundred small farmers, who own an average of just one and a half hectares of vineyards, are advised by experts from the cooperative. One of the most important foundations of Santadi's success today is its commitment to the local grape varieties.

Tasting note
The fragrance spectrum of Rocca Rubia Riserva shows a complex aroma character and lots of finesse. The dominant notes of raspberry and cranberries create their individual texture. Medium-bodied and dominant acidity result in the red wine, which, when balanced with fine tannins in the mouth, shows a lot of character and class.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with roasts, grilled meats, strong cheeses, pot roast, pork, steak and game meat.
