About the wine
With its start in the 1990s, the Roda bodega has set a striking milestone in Spanish wine culture. The base provides a great collection of excellent old clones of Tempranillo and Graciano grapes in fantastic vineyards of the Rioja Alta. In the manner of a Premier Cru, work is carried out uncompromisingly at top level in a spectacular bodega in the old wine district of Haro. The Uno, the noble number one, represents the noble reserve of the house. This is Spain hors classe in the spirit of charismatic winery manager Agustin Santolaya: dark berry character with incredible concentration. Fascinating pure fruit, elegant and dense, with wonderful melting.
