About the wine
The incomparably committed and passionate Negro family has been active in viticulture since 1670! And today it is synonymous with qualitative top in the Piedmontese Roero area. The Arneïs is an autochthonous vine, this top wine from the house shows exceptional class. The steep hillside of Perdaudin, the most historic for the Arneïs grape, is primarily responsible. It produces a lively, complex wine with exciting aromas (orange blossoms, pears, minerals...).
Tasting note
Intense straw-yellow color. On the nose, there are notes of yellow-fleshed fruits, with the peach predominating, combined with nuances of acacia blossoms and tropical fruits. In the mouth, it has a soft, persistent start with a spicy, mineral finish that is characteristic of the sandy soils of the Roero.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team recommends this Roero Arneïs DOCG Serra Lupini to accompany fried chicken and tapas dishes. Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for the white wine is a slightly chilled 8°-10°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: now until 2026.
