About the wine
What Markus Schneider has achieved in recent years is hard to believe. In 1994, he started from scratch, so to speak. And today, 22 years later, he and his team work on over 92 hectares, bottles around 800,000 bottles a year and is described by the German trade press as The Phenomenon and The Favourite of the Young Scene.

Tasting note
A summery picture-book rosé with aromas of strawberries, raspberries, red cherries and a subtle note of pepper. Juicy and refreshing acidity. The fresh red berries are also visible on the finish.
Vinification
The name Saigner refers to careful production. After the grapes have been stored in the fermentation fermenter, some of the released fruit juice is removed via large sieves. This creates a completely natural concentration of the remaining grapes and allows you to completely dispense with pressing the berries.
