About the wine
A must for connoisseurs, this dominant Chardonnay 2016 — Rossj-Bass DOC! Blooming and sunny landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Angelo Gaja conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you offer this Chardonnay with soft cheese or truffles.
Tasting note
The Rossj bass impresses with its fine, floral scent with a touch of citrus and light notes of honey. It has a remarkable depth and is very elegant on the palate with a robust body and pleasant freshness. Mineral, full-bodied finish. Good shelf life.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Rossj-Bass DOC passt bestens zu Geisskäse, Geflügel und Spargeln.
Vinification
The temperature-controlled fermentation takes place for 4 weeks in steel tanks between 16 and 18°C. The Rossj bass is then aged for 6 to 7 months in slightly used barriques.
