About the wine
With the outstanding Sangiovese 2014 — Rosso di Montalcino DOC, nuances and accents are redefined. Blooming and fertile landscapes of Tuscany give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Le Chiuse conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this sangiovese with beef or pizza.
Tasting note
Brilliant ruby red, purple hues. Elegant on the nose, red fruits such as cherry and currant, floral notes of lilac and violet. Fresh, fruity on the palate, supported by acidity and tannins. Harmonious elegant impression. The wine is already available.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, game, hard cheese, lamb.
Vinification
Classic fermentation with mash fermentation at 29 degrees for 19 days. During the fermentation in the first week, the must was moved steadily from bottom to top to maintain color, body and structure. After fermentation, pumped into 20 to 30 hectoliter barrels of Slavonian and French oak, malolactic fermentation, twelve barrel maturation.
