About the wine
We have a special, strong Cabernet Sauvignon from 2015 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. The winemaker from the Austrian winery Josef Pöckl absolutely masters his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originated in the picturesque landscape of Burgenland. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Cabernet Sauvignon with ribeye steak or Gruyère burger.

Tasting note
The refreshing bouquet of fruit compote, spices and tobacco cleverly plays with your sense of smell. Afterwards, refreshing nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper will resolutely and consciously convince your taste buds. With subdued, pleasantly developed tannins, a strong body and dominant acidity, this fruity red wine shows its flawless structure. This top wine won the prize: Falstaff 91/100.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: Now until 2022. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with ribeye steak, Gruyère burger and pizza with mushrooms.
