About the wine
After more than twenty years of analysis and experimentation, Guidalberto, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, is now a wine with a clear temperament that interprets its terroir well. It is a younger style that strives for aromas and sweetness on the palate, characteristics that Merlot can offer even when aged for a relatively short period of time.

Tasting note
Intense ruby red with purple reflections. Straight, compact nose. Notes of dark berries, cassis and cherries, plums appear. Spicy floral notes are paired with this. Cloves, violets and subtle toasted notes can be recognized. On the palate, the wine presents itself with a lot of melting and silky tannins. The finish is long, the juicy acidity accompanies wonderfully and makes you want more.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with a grilled entrecote or tagliorini with porcini mushrooms.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and strictly selected. The subsequent mash fermentation and alcoholic fermentation take place in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks. The young wine matures for 15 months in American and French barriques (a third of which is new), then in bottle for another three months.
