About the wine
Barely on the market, he was already a minor star! The success of the youngest “wine child” from the house of San Guido (“Sassicaia”) is impressive.
Tasting note
Sparkling ruby red. Complex nose with notes of dark cherries and berries, some chocolate, floral tones and roasted nuances. Very supple on the palate, aromas of sour cherries and Mediterranean herbs as well as fine-grained, well-integrated tannins. Medium long, soft and juicy finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes perfectly with a plate of pasta al pomodoro. Please drizzle with olive oil.
Vinification
After careful harvesting, the grapes are mashed and fermented in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks. The young wine then matures for twelve months in French and American barriques.
