Tasting note
Color: Clear, dense ruby red with fine reddish gold reflections, deep black core. Aroma: Intense, complex with dried fruit nuances, elegant, warm notes of development (cocoa, sweet spices), slightly vegetal and nutty. Body: Dense palate with strong stature, present structure, fine, fresh acidity, subtle tartness on the finish. Quality: Elegant, aristocratic wine, can still mature, possibly carafe.
Culinary recommendation
Roasted venison fillet with blackberry wild cream sauce, entrecote à la bordelaise, aged hard cheese.
