About the wine
The Feudo Maccari estate is located on an ancient loan estate of around a hundred hectares. Antonio Moretti painstakingly put it together and brought it back to its former glory. In the middle of this is the recently inaugurated, modern and functional winery. This area has always offered the best terroir for the cultivation of the Nero d'Avola, which offers perfect conditions for top Sicilians thanks to the special microclimate and the extremely fertile volcanic soil.

Tasting note
That will be remembered: Its elegant garnet red lends an extravagant touch to any occasion. The distinctive aromas of Saia IGT of black pepper and tobacco express a lot of finesse with a very unique structure. The fruity nuances of black cherry and black plum then reveal their own character. A red wine with a powerful body and dominant acidity, which develops its lively structure vigorously with rich tannins on the tongue and palate. This top wine was awarded 94 James Suckling.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled foods, roasts, cheese, pizza and hard cheeses.
Vinification
The expansion of this Saia IGT was carried out in steel tanks.
