About the wine
Two palm trees form the trademark of Cantine Due Palme. The cooperative winery from Cellino San Marco has grown rapidly and now has around 1200 members. This places the winery among the most important producers of quality wines in all of southern Italy. The grapes delivered by small winemakers from the provinces of Brindisi, Lecce and Taranto produce wines with a modern interpretation of high density and concentration, which also retain their classic personality with a sweet, ripe fruit and have thus offered a high level of consistency and authenticity for years.

Tasting note
This is memorable: its exquisite ruby red lends an extravagant touch to any occasion. Salento Primitivo DON COSIMO IGT's fruity bouquet of black plum, apricot and anise skilfully plays with your sense of smell. Playful nuances of raspberry, black cherry and blueberry then decisively and consciously convince your taste buds. A red wine with a medium-bodied body and distinctive acidity, which, when balanced with finely developed tannins, develops its complex structure on the tongue and on the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 2016 - 2018. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Salento Primitivo DON COSIMO IGT goes well with red meat, risotto and brasato.
