About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Leone de Castris masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the blooming and sunny landscape of Puglia. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you offer this Negroamaro with pasta bolognese or dumplings.
Tasting note
The blend of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera delights on the nose with its intense cherry fruit and fine roasted aromas. Powerful, round and harmonious on the palate and wonderfully long-lasting. Here we can absolutely understand the high rating given by Robert Parker from the USA. The price/quality ratio is absolutely great!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled fish, meat and vegetables. Classics such as pasta or risotto are sure to go with this Salice. It can be used in many ways
Vinification
For a wine at this price, the rating of 87/100 points by wine pope Parker makes you sit up and take notice. The wine is aged in small oak barrels for one year. It is only given the addition “Riserva” two years after the date of the harvest.
