About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Selva Capuzza has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and refinement are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the fertile and beautiful countryside of Lombardy. Tasting note
Light yellow with greenish reflections. Delicate on the nose, driven by fruity and floral aromas. Juicy, well-structured and pleasantly fresh on the palate. Pome fruit, citrus fruits and again floral notes. Tasty finish.
Culinary recommendation
An excellent wine as an aperitif, on the terrace, with fried fish.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully picked by hand, destemmed and gently pressed. Fermentation is temperature-controlled in steel tanks, usually without malolactic fermentation. In the winter months, in contact with the fine yeast (battonage), the wine matures in steel tanks until January/February; in the months of March/April, it is bottled and, after one to two months of aging in the bottle, is put on the market. A classic Lugana doc made from 100% Trebbiano di Lugana, locally known as Turbiana.
