About the wine
The wine-growing regions of the Spanish winery Bodega Finca Sandoval stretch across the landscapes of Meseta, where the experienced winemaker produces this red wine. With the dominant Shiraz 2009 — Sandoval Manchuela DO, nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Shiraz with barbecue or roasted vegetables.
Tasting note
Notes of blackberries, sour cherry, spices, some iodine, Maggi herb, pepper, and a wonderful fruit sweetness underlined by delicate tobacco aromas flatter the nose. On the palate, the wine shines with lots of character and Spanish palate fire. Nevertheless, it is incredibly finesse. A great combination of fruit and acidity with delicate tannins and a great spiciness inspires us anew with every sip. A big coup by Victor de la Serna.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Spanish cuisine, lamb, beef, stews and grilled meats.
