About the wine
A must for connoisseurs, this outstanding red wine 2013 — Sangiovese Rosso Toscana IGT! The winemaker from the Azienda Agricola Brunetti winery grows this wine in the countryside. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Sangiovese with pasta or lamb.
Tasting note
The special soil and the proximity to the sea give the Sangiovese grape variety all its power. It is a wine of medium to strong character, ruby-red in color, with a long-lasting fruity aroma.

Vinification
The harvest begins in mid-September. It is then fermented, pressed, macerated for 10 days, followed by transfer, 50% into French barriques and 50% into stainless steel tanks, where natural malolactic fermentation then takes place. The wine is then aged for a further 12 months in French barrique barrels and in stainless steel containers. This is followed by a 6-month bottle aging.
